Parchisi involves the use of two dice, four game pieces per player, and a game board featuring a track around the perimeter, four corner spaces, and four home paths leading to a central end space. The typical Parchis board in the United States consists of 68 spaces along the edge, with 12 designated as safe spaces. Each corner of the board serves as a nest or starting area for one player.
