Tile’s Notify When Found feature allows the Tile network to help locate your lost item. By adding contact information to your Tile, you can be reached if someone finds it by scanning the QR code on your lost Tile (available on select 2022 Pro, Mate, and Slim Tiles).

1. How far away can you track a Tile?

Tile uses Bluetooth technology to connect with the Tile app on your phone. Its range is approximately 100-500 feet, depending on the environment. It’s ideal for items like keys, wallets, or bags but is not designed for real-time GPS tracking.

2. Can I track a car with Tile?

Tile is not intended as a vehicle tracker. If someone else with the Tile app walks by your car within 400 feet, you may receive a notification about its general location. However, it’s not designed to track a car in real-time.

3. Can you track someone with a Tile?

Tile prohibits using its products for tracking people without their knowledge or consent. If you have safety concerns, please contact local law enforcement immediately.

4. What is Tile Premium?

Tile Premium is a subscription plan that offers additional features, such as Smart Alerts, item reimbursement (for U.S. subscribers), and the ability to track multiple Tiles. You can enjoy a 30-day free trial before committing to a subscription.
