You can also check the distance from your current position to saved places, which is particularly useful for travelers. For example, when on a trip, you can easily measure how far you are from home or any other location of interest. The distances are calculated using the WGS84 ellipsoid, ensuring accuracy.

Share and Emergency Features

You can easily send your current position to others via messaging apps, complete with a Google Maps link for quick navigation. In case of emergency, you can also send an SMS containing your GPS coordinates—even when you don’t have a data connection. Additionally, it allows you to copy your GPS coordinates to the clipboard, so you can paste them into maps, emails, or chats.
