• Add as many addresses as you need, and we’ll make sure your parcels find you, wherever you happen to be in the UK.

Q: How do I set up my personal delivery preferences?

A: Once you’ve downloaded the DPD app and created your account, you can set your delivery preferences in the “My Profile” or “Delivery Settings” section. There, you’ll be able to choose how and where you want parcels delivered—whether that’s to a safe place, a trusted neighbour, or a designated DPD Pickup point. Once saved, your choices are remembered for future deliveries.

Q: Can I choose a safe place for my parcel if I’m not home?

A: Absolutely! You can select a safe spot that’s easily accessible and secure—like behind a gate or in a shed—but make sure it’s somewhere a driver can reach safely and isn’t a letterbox. Once you’ve set this up in the app, our drivers will follow your instructions each time without you having to repeat them.

Q: How do the 30-minute delivery alerts work?

A: You’ll get two key notifications: one when your parcel is out for delivery and another when the driver is just 30 minutes away. This gives you time to prepare—make a cup of tea, quiet the dog, or simply make sure you’re available to receive your delivery.
