Layout function introduction

A new app launched by Instagram allows you to recombine your photos to create a unique layout and share it with your friends. It’s a lot of fun!

You can select photos from your camera roll, or snap a bunch of photos on a whim using the built-in Photo Booth, and instantly try out different photo layouts. Pick your favorite photo layout, edit it and make it yours.

Layout's photo processing process is smooth and intuitive, giving users a highly creative control experience. Touch to mirror, flip or replace images, press and drag to swap images, pinch to zoom, and pull the handle to resize photos. You are the creative photo maker, so let your creativity run wild: write a story, show off an outfit, or just splice, embellish, or change the look of a regular photo to express a mood or theme.

How to use Layout

Step 1: Authorize access to your gallery, and click on the photos you want to stitch together in the gallery preview at the bottom of the interface. The upper part will be assembled into various styles based on the photos you choose. Swipe left or right to determine your favorite style.

Step 2: Click on your favorite stitching style to enter the fine-tuning interface, where you can drag the distribution position of the pictures and the display area of a single picture. The three options at the bottom are "Replace", "Mirror" and "Flip". You can make some appropriate adjustments. Then, click Save in the upper right corner to enter the sharing page. This includes jumping directly to Instagram to share with your friends, sharing to Facebook, and sharing to other apps.
