Q: How do I set up my cycle information for the first time?

A: To begin, open the Base Setting screen and enter the start and end dates of your most recent period. The app uses that information to calculate your average cycle length and expected period duration. If you’ve been tracking for a while, entering two or three cycles will help LadysCalendar refine its predictions. After saving your base data, the calendar will immediately highlight your upcoming period dates and fertile window so you can start logging right away.

Q: How accurate are the period and fertile window predictions?

A: Predictions in LadysCalendar are based on the average of the cycle data you provide and on a standard 14-day luteal phase count back from your next expected period. While this method is widely used, every body is different. The app’s predictions should be treated as a guideline rather than a guarantee. As you log more cycles, the estimates will become more personalized—but if you experience irregularities, you may still see variation in your predicted dates.

Q: What is basal body temperature tracking and why does it matter?

A: Basal body temperature (BBT) tracking involves measuring your body temperature each morning before any physical activity. A slight rise in your BBT often indicates that ovulation has occurred. In LadysCalendar, you enter your temperature on the Temperature screen, and each reading appears on the calendar. Over time, those data points form a curve that helps you identify patterns in your cycle and confirm whether your ovulation estimates were accurate.
